Reminder – May 2019 Administration Manuals

The digital copies of May 2019 Administration manuals are posted to the Help & Support site: https://maryland.onlinehelp.measuredprogress.org/guides/.

Scheduling Test Sessions

You are now able to go into the HSA Portal to start scheduling test sessions. If you need a refresher on how this process works, there is a small tutorial on the Help & Support site about creating classes and test sessions: https://maryland.onlinehelp.measuredprogress.org/training/.

Bulk Uploads During the Administration

The HSA Portal allows for bulk uploads between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. during the testing administration. We've regulated it to those hours as to not interfere with peak student testing times. The bulk functionality available during those hours are:

  • Creating and editing classes via the bulk upload
  • Bulk uploading of Accommodations
  • Exporting an Accommodations report for a school
  • Exporting a Pre-ID report from the Pre-ID Management page, and
  • Creating and editing user account (LAC & STC) via the bulk user upload

If student/class information needs to be updated between 5:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., you can make changes manually within the Portal. Students that need to be registered for the first time cannot be bulk uploaded at any time and need to be manually updated.

Test Administration Documentation

As a reminder, policy and test administration documentation can be found on the Help & Support site: https://maryland.onlinehelp.measuredprogress.org/portal-guides/. You will find instruction on topics such as: student transfer policy, program school student policy, and UPS pickup requests.

Secure Test Materials

Test materials should have arrived in schools by Monday, April 29. If you have not received all expected test materials, please contact the HSA Help Desk.

  • We have created an ancillary document for the Paper Test Administration that provides the page numbers for the start of each session. This was mentioned in the May 2019 Test Administration Manuals on page 1. This document has been posted to the Help & Support site (https://maryland.onlinehelp.measuredprogress.org/reference-sheets/). Please be sure to share this document with the STCs in schools administering a paper test.

Additional Paper Materials Ordering Window

The window for ordering additional paper testing materials opened on Monday, April 29 and will close on Wednesday, May 22, 2019.

Government TAM Errata Notice

It has been determined that an additional instruction needs be read to students as part of the online testing script for Government. This Government TAM Errata Notice has been posted to the Help and Support site (https://maryland.onlinehelp.measuredprogress.org/wp-content/uploads/sites/15/2019/04/May_2019_Government_TAM_Errata.pdf) and was also delivered to all schools on April 29. One Government TAM Errata Notice was shipped for each TAM ordered during the initial pre-ID. The Errata notice will also be shipped with all Government TAMs ordered during the additional paper materials ordering window.

January 2019 Score Labels

The score labels for the January administration should have arrived in districts Friday, April 12. If you have not received your shipment, please reach out to the HSA Help Desk.
