You will be able to start scheduling UPS pickups for paper testing materials on May 22. Instructions on how to schedule a pickup can be found on the Help & Support site: https://maryland.onlinehelp.measuredprogress.org/wp-content/uploads/sites/15/2018/10/Instructions-for-UPS-Pick-Up-Requests_MD.pdf. The May 2019 administration for Government and HS MISA is now open. Both online and paper testing windows opened on May 7. The online administration will close June 7 and the paper-based test window will close on May 31.
You are now able to go into the HSA Portal to start scheduling test sessions. If you need a refresher on how this process works, there is a small tutorial on the Help & Support site about creating classes and test sessions: https://maryland.onlinehelp.measuredprogress.org/training/.
The HSA Portal allows for bulk uploads between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. during the testing administration. We've regulated it to those hours as to not interfere with peak student testing times. The bulk functionality available during those hours are:
If student/class information needs to be updated between 5:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., you can make changes manually within the Portal. Students that need to be registered for the first time cannot be bulk uploaded at any time and need to be manually updated.
As a reminder, policy and test administration documentation can be found on the Help & Support site: https://maryland.onlinehelp.measuredprogress.org/portal-guides/. You will find instruction on topics such as: student transfer policy, program school student policy, and UPS pickup requests.
Test materials should have arrived in schools by Monday, April 29. If you have not received all expected test materials, please contact the HSA Help Desk.
The window for ordering additional paper testing materials opened on Monday, April 29 and will close on Wednesday, May 22, 2019.
It has been determined that an additional instruction needs be read to students as part of the online testing script for Government. This Government TAM Errata Notice has been posted to the Help and Support site (https://maryland.onlinehelp.measuredprogress.org/wp-content/uploads/sites/15/2019/04/May_2019_Government_TAM_Errata.pdf) and was also delivered to all schools on April 29. One Government TAM Errata Notice was shipped for each TAM ordered during the initial pre-ID. The Errata notice will also be shipped with all Government TAMs ordered during the additional paper materials ordering window.
The score labels for the January administration should have arrived in districts Friday, April 12. If you have not received your shipment, please reach out to the HSA Help Desk.
